Book

Art and literature have these things, that of appropriating the great figures and works that made our culture grow and being able to add a little of our art to it, respecting it and making it grow as well.

Here you will find a real Fernando Pessoa, but different. João Viegas adds a touch of humor to the universal author and creates cartoons that show us the figure we all (don't) know, presenting him in a new guise. No longer the occultist, the brilliant student, the obsessive, the depressed or the misogynist, much less the genius who prepared everything so that in the final phase of his life he could present himself in all his strength and dominate the literary world, and who dies when the his plan was about to start (this alone is already enough material for cartoons...), but a more mundane, current, close and sometimes even surrealist vision, but always, always, with a lot of humor.

Fernando, Fernandinho and their friends enter here as characters and actors in their own work, as a reflection of what he wrote, Pessoa as part of the world he created or where he is inserted today. A book that, despite everything, manages to give us an image that is sometimes more real than the one many of them have.

After all, does anyone really know who Fernando Pessoa was?
